::OFFICIAL BLOG OF TROY DOUGLAS::: For 12 years I have been hammering out riffs and notes in my mind, molding them into memorable melodies in my original songs & remakes of popular hits. The music has always been there, even before I taught myself – it was waiting to be released from my mind. Music and I have an unconditional love. Love is an action verb like struggle. And so is my life; the music I create. I really have no choice BUT to choose the path of music. Every day I choose it; it chooses me. While living in Georgia from 2004-08, I took advanced vocal training from Tobias Mostel, the son of the late film star Zero Mostel. Tobias mentored me in a traditional Italian Operatic style of singing. He brought my TRUE voice to life & this is me PAYING IT FORWARD.
